Hi, I’m Dr Ash, the veterinarian and the creator of QoL Companion.
Working in both general practice and end-of-life care, I understand how difficult it can be for pet owners to recognise the gradual changes in a pet ’s wellbeing. Often, these changes are small and subtle, but summate to a much bigger picture: Quality of Life (QoL).
That’s why I created QoL Companion.
While quality of life monitoring is something we usually think about when a pet becomes older or unwell, I believe it’s valuable at every stage of life. Establishing a picture of what’s normal for your pet while they’re healthy makes it much easier to recognise when things aren't quite right.
QoL Companion gives pet owners a simple, clinically-grounded way to track everyday wellbeing at home, using validated pain assessments, to understand your pet's individual normal and share clearer information with your veterinary team.
